Societatea Studenţilor Medicinişti Iaşi (SSMI) este continuatoarea celei mai vechi asociaţii studenţeşti din ţară, o organizaţie non-guvernamentală, apolitică, ce are ca scop apărarea drepturilor studenţilor medicinişti, contribuind în acelaşi timp la dezvoltarea personală a membrilor săi ca persoane polivalente, ce influenţează în sens pozitiv viaţă celor din jurul lor.
Dorim să ştie cât mai mulţi studenţi ceea ce credem noi… că un medic, pentru a fi cu adevărat performant, are nevoie de mai mult decât cunoştinţele pe care le primeşte de la cadrele didactice: are nevoie de spirit de echipă, abilităţi de comunicare şi negociere, altruism, comportament etic, responsabilitate.
În același timp, credem că viaţa de student trebuie să fie activă, distractivă şi să ducă la formarea unor adulţi competenţi şi complecși, prin urmare vă încurajăm să profitați din prin de anii studenției!
